Are you a woman that would like to learn more about tributary fishing? Join Orleans County Tourism, New York Sea Grant (NYSG) and representatives from the US Fish and Wildlife Service Lower Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Conservation office for a hands-on fishing seminar on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 1-4pm at the St. Mary’s Archers Club (Clark Mills Rd, Waterport, NY 14571). Learn stream fishing basics, safety, and fish biology. Both fly fishing and spin fishing techniques will be covered. Fishing rods and gear will be provided for use at the event, but you're welcome to bring your own as well. Remember to have a valid NYS fishing license and to dress appropriately for the outdoors.
