Village of Albion Summer Concert Series: Albion Jazz Band

The Albion High School Jazz Ensemble is under the direction of Mr. Mike Thaine, and includes 16 talented and dedicated students in grades 10-12.  The band performs a variety of musical styles, from Big Band Swing to Jazz/Rock Fusion. The Albion High School Jazz Ensemble has won awards at competitions around the state, and performs several times during the school year. The Jazz Band has been performing at the Village of Albion Summer Concert Series for the past three years and is pleased to be a part of the concert series again this spring. Mr. Thaine will be retiring at the end of this school year and we wish him the best in his retirement.
