The Alfred Farmers Market is holding a Chicken BBQ & basket raffle fundraiser to support our musicians who play at the market each Sunday. These local artists provide the heart and soul of the market – and the market is grateful for their efforts! This event will be Saturday, May 4, from noon until 2:30 at the Union University Church Center, 29 N. Main St., Alfred, NY.

Tickets are available pre-sale from AFM Board Members, or by contacting Amanda Khodorkovskaya at (607)281-8634 or Kim Hannigan at (570)807-6374. Tickets can also be purchased at the Alfred Box of Books on Tuesday, April 9, from 3:00-6:00 PM. (This is a presale-only event!)

Chicken dinner with 1/2 chicken, 2 sides, a roll and a cookie are $12.00; Half chickens also available without sides for $8.00. This is a eat-in or carry-out event and drinks will be available for purchase. A bountiful basket raffle will also be happening at this event!
