Immerse in the festive ambiance with Medina's "Olde Tyme Christmas & Parade of Lights", an enchanting evening of lights and joy on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, marking the holiday season's magical beginning.

Full Schedule: 

9am – Home for The Holidays 5K – A 5K for all ages! Starts in the Erie Canal Basin. Additional information is available at www.itsyourrace.com and www.
christmasinmedina.com. All proceeds to benefit Growing Orchard Foundation, an organization that supplies backpacks filled with food to students in need of
food for over the weekends.
9am-4pm – Canal Village Holiday Farmers’ Market - 20+ vendors INDOORS! – Farmers, Bakeries, Artists, Crafters, and Food. Hot Coffee & Hot Chocolate! Kids’
activities, games and prizes. 345 Main St.
9 am-6 pm – Stop by Lakeshore Alpacas (Set up in front of Della’s Chocolates) for a free Alpaca coloring book and crayons for the youngsters, and while you’re there
buy a nice warm alpaca gift for yourself or a loved one.
9am-7pm – Feeling a little chilly? Stop by Rotary Park and pick up a cup of hot chocolate or hot mulled cider from Boy Scout Troop 35. While you’re there, buy a few
meat sticks for stocking stuffers and help out a great organization.
10am-6pm - Thistle Ridge Home & Garden - 418 Main Street - Holiday Open House and Santa Cookie Plate Give Away. One plate per family with a $25 purchase and
while supplies last.
10am-6pm - Join us for Shop Small Saturday!!! Check out the specials being offered by our local merchants! SHOP LOCAL!!!
10am-6pm - Blue’s General Store, 540 Main St. Stop in and check out the wonderful assortment of potential Christmas presents! For every $20 you spend, you will
receive a ticket to possibly win one of two $50 gift certificates.
10am-6pm – “Can You Name These Christmas Songs” Game. Pick up a game sheet at The English Rose Tea Shoppe, 527 Main St., and see if you can name these
Christmas songs. Check out our Holly Jolly Window Decorations in our downtown and you’ll find the answers in the windows. Drop them back off at the tea
shop where we will draw a winner for a chocolate Santa!
10am-6pm – Who remembers sitting on Santa’s lap while visiting G. C. Murphy’s? Stop by Main Street Appliance and Home Furnishings, 430 Main St., and check out
the chair Santa used. We’re sure the wonderful Christmas memories will come flooding back.
10am-6pm – At Author’s Note, 519 Main St., a “Bookish Angel Tree” will give shoppers the option of donating books to children in need.
11am-5pm – The Vintage Cigar, 513 Main St. –Join us to kick off the holiday season with Carl Barone from Forged Cigar Company. There will be amazing deals for the
cigar lover in your life plus other surprises. We will be debuting new cigars along with a selection from Alec Bradley, Diesel, Partagas and more. Must be 21 years
old.
11am-8pm – 8th Annual Parade of Lights Toy Drive - Enjoy Medina’s most festive day of the year, and while you’re here, you can make a local child’s holiday brighter –
and maybe yours too! It all happens at Canalside Tattoo Company located at 627 West Ave.
11:30am - Pets on Parade – Bring Fluffy and Fido down to meet Santa (and maybe win a prize!) and then join Santa in his noon time parade. Town of Ridgeway parking
lot, 406 West Ave. The parade is sponsored by Medina Veterinary Clinic and PAWS Animal Shelter.
12pm - Santa’s Arrival Parade and Pets on Parade! On Main Street between Pearl St. and Park Ave.
12pm-3pm - Medina Historical Society Open House, 406 West Ave. Stop in to visit some of Medina’s History and hear a little of how Christmas was celebrated in the
past. Candy Canes for the little one!
12pm-6pm - Medina Lions Club is selling hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chips, etc. in front of the Presbyterian Church on Main St.
12:30pm-4pm – FREE Horse drawn wagon rides by ZAM Yohe Draft Horses starting on Main Street.
2 pm -3pm – Friends of Harmony Barbershop Quartet will be performing on the Main Street stage in front of Rotary Park.
2pm-5pm - Tea Tasting – Taste the flavors of the Christmas season at The English Rose Tea Shoppe, 527 Main St. We will be featuring some of our most popular teas
and cookies to tickle your taste buds.
3pm-10pm – The Shirt Factory’s Christmas Cocktail Bar Launch!!! Delicious beverages to get you through the holiday season. Must be 21 years old.
3 pm-10pm - Enjoy Holiday Drink Specials at the Harvest Bar at Bent’s Opera House, 444 Main St. Must be 21 years old.
5pm - Join us at One Church, 120 Park Ave., for a free showing of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and a hot cup of cocoa to warm up before the Parade of Lights starts.
5pm -5:30pm - Prime Time Brass at Rotary Park
5:30pm - Spectacular Tree Lighting Ceremony lit by our Grand Marshall, Ginny Kropf, in Rotary Park on Main St. Thank you to the Decorate Medina Committee for
the wonderful downtown Christmas decorations!
5:45pm - Christmas Fireworks Display on Main St. by Young Explosives from Rochester.
6pm - 16th Annual Parade of Lights - Join us on Main Street and Park Avenue for this spectacular conclusion to Medina’s Olde Tyme Christmas!
7pm-11pm – Join us at Poler’s Pub, 610 Main St. for their UGLY Sweater Party. Jason the Dozer will be there spinning tunes for Open Mic Night
