Tap into the history of maple at our Maple Syrup Festival & Pancake Breakfast!

Gather family and friends to enjoy a safe outdoor outing, and explore the history of maple sugaring in New York State. Start your adventure at our Sugarhouse, then, journey to the 19th century to see the techniques and tools that early settlers used to collect sap and make maple sugar. Savor tales of maple sugaring origins with Haudenosaunee storytellers at the Village Square Stage, try your hand at tapping a tree, see maple products used in historic kitchens around the Village, sample tasty treats, shop maple products in the Flint Hill Store, and more! Plus, indulge in a delectable pancake breakfast in the Museum's Meeting Center (tickets sold separately.) We encourage visitors to dress warmly, as this event is primarily outdoors!
