Hands in the Dirt Nose in a Book Garden Tour Fundraiser

The Whitesville Public Library’s annual fundraising garden tour is scheduled for Saturday, July 26, 2025. Hands in the Dirt, Nose in a Book Garden Tour begin at the Whitesville Public Library at 500 Main St in Whitesville from 10 AM to 3 PM. This is a self-guided tour that can either be walked (approx. 1.2 miles) or driven. It is entirely at your own pace. Stop at the Whitesville Library registration desk first to pick up a map. The event is free however donations are greatly appreciated.
A few highlights to be seen on the tour include: a well-developed shade garden, views of cozy and special places developed to sit and enjoy the birds and the bees, ideas for using vintage materials to enhance your garden, a large variety of pollinator gardens, garden totem poles.
Come and savor a day outdoors touring beautiful spaces to help benefit programming at the Whitesville Public Library. These funds are used to enhance our offerings at the library for children, teens, and adults. Contact the Library at 607-356-3645 with questions or if the weather is iffy.
