This favorite family-oriented event is back at Triangle Park in Oakfield!
Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and their elves will be serving cookies and hot cocoa as Triangle Park is transformed into a winter wonderland village. There will be live music, an ornament scavenger hunt, fire truck parade and lighting ceremony. The first 50 families to arrive to the park will receive a wreath! Local businesses will have specials and promotions throughout the day.
Families and participants will have the opportunity for more fun by picking up "Christmas Passports" at the park. From there, they will stop at each location in the passport book until it's completed. They can return the passport to the Oakfield Betterment Committee at Triangle Park to be entered into a drawing for several prizes.
The Oakfield Betterment is bringing this event back with Oakfield Alabama Lions Club, Oakfield Fire Department, Oakfield Historical Society, Genesee Society of Model Trains, Haxton Memorial Library, The Goose, and many other local businesses and organizations.
