AU Chorus Concert
When
The Alfred University Chorus presents its fall concert on Saturday, December 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Miller Theater of the Miller Performing Arts Center. AU Chorus is conducted by Rebecca H. Weaver Hamm and accompanied by pianist Dr. Linda Boianova. The music is centered on poetry of Sara Teasdale, featuring “There Will Come Soft Rains” (2022) by Matt Podd, “Gifts” (2019) by Victor C. Johnson, and “Let it be Forgotten” (2024) by Ashley Eyre. Other works on the program pay tribute to Peter Schickele, the American musicologist who “discovered” P. D. Q. Bach and who died this year.
