An interactive showcase of Alfred University’s combustive arts including demos in glass and blacksmithing and interactive opportunities in Raku ceramics, and metal casting on November 18th, from 4-7pm on Cushing Alley (Behind Binns Merrill Hall, Outdoor Kiln Pavillion, Foundry, Hot Shop.)

Community members will have opportunities to create art at this event through the purchase of scratch block molds for iron casting as well as glaze-it-yourself ceramic objects for raku. While taking in the festivities, community members will have the opportunity to enjoy free smores alongside warm seasonal beverages. Attendance to the event is completely free and attendees of all ages and occupation are welcome!
