Alfred State Drama Club is excited to present the Fall 2024 musical, The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals! Book by Nick and Matt Lang, music and lyrics by Jeff Blim, this StarKid Production is a horror comedy musical based in Hatchetfield. Everything in Hatchetfield seemed normal until people began singing…then they began dancing…and now, a musical pandemic is sweeping the entire city. It’s up to Paul (an average guy that doesn’t like musicals) and his friends to stop this musical apocalypse and fight for humanity’s future.

There will be four performances, all in the Cappadonia Auditorium in the Orvis Activities Center at Alfred State College. The performance dates are: November 21st at 7 pm, November 22nd at 7 pm, November 23rd at 2 pm and November 23rd at 7 pm. The show is open to all but may not be suited for younger audiences due to content and frequent profanity. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for general admission. Tickets can be purchased in advance via the campus store via cash or credit card (607-587-4020), but can also be purchased at the door for cash only.
