A popular fishing (and ice fishing) spot for largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, perch, carp, pike, and more. The NYS DEC offers approximately 3000 ft. of shoreline for fishing, as well as a hand launch site for small boats, canoes, and kayaks. Camping options and cabin rentals around Alma Pond make it a great place to stay and enjoy some of the area’s darkest skies, optimal for stargazing. (dec.ny.gov)
